We made this guide for travellers who want more than a list of attractions. Piers, lighthouses, islands, reserves and fishing villages each tell a different part of the coastal story. Together, they make a map of how people have lived with weather, tide and distance.
Our notes are written to be useful, honest and easy to scan. When a fact needs confirmation, we mark it clearly rather than filling the gap with certainty.
